Absa Bank Spreads Festive Cheer with Donation to Kasisi Orphanage

Absa Bank Zambia has reaffirmed its commitment to community upliftment by extending support to vulnerable children at Kasisi Orphanage through a donation of essential supplies during the festive season.

In a gesture driven by compassion and shared responsibility, Absa Bank Zambia’s Risk Department, working in partnership with the Project Management Institute (PMI), donated clothing, beddings and food items to the orphanage. The initiative was aimed at easing the daily challenges faced by the children while reinforcing the values of care and dignity during a time traditionally associated with giving.

The bank said the outreach reflects its belief that meaningful and sustainable change begins with compassion, especially when institutions and professionals come together for a common cause. By collaborating with PMI, Absa demonstrated the power of partnerships in delivering positive social impact beyond the financial sector.

Absa Bank Zambia reaffirmed that the donation forms part of its broader purpose of being a force for good in the communities it serves. Through purpose-led actions and strategic partnerships, the bank continues to support initiatives that promote inclusion, social wellbeing and long-term community resilience.

The bank added that such initiatives align with its vision of contributing to a better Zambia, where support, care and dignity are accessible to all, particularly the most vulnerable members of society.
